Like many strikers, Madine's had to modify his game due to his mobility being reduced by the injuries incurred throughout his career.

That's the major part of his game now. Back to goal and muscling it out with the opposition centre half, causing grief.

We're going to see more of this type of incident.

Madine's 32 and this could signal the end of his career.

FWIW my opinion of him as a player: An excellent football player and centre forward. The problem with him being that by the time we signed him (early 2020) he'd lost so much mobility that he could barely run anymore. However, because of the squad / other strikers we have, Madine was a necessary in the first eleven and as a championship club, we shouldn't have had to rely on him so heavily, if at all.
