Paulo Sousa is reported as being under consideration to replace Gianfranco Zola at West Ham

The Swansea City manager is one of several linked with what is reported to be a soon to be vacant manager's job at Upton Park.

The Daily Mail reports that Zola has been summoned to talks following a disappointing season for the Hammers and their source says that thw two sides will try and thrash out a deal that will see the Italian leave Upgton Park by 'mutual consent'

West Ham won only two of their last twelve games of the season and ended the season in 17th place - one above the three relegation places from the Premier League.

The same newspaper reports that names in the frame to replace Zola are "former West Ham defender Slaven Bilic, ex-England coach Glenn Hoddle and Paulo Sousa, Swansea's talented boss"

The report also goes onto say that the club will cast their net far and wide to look for a new manager with choices not restricted to the early names to be linked with the job,
